Kelly ( my girlfriend) and I have taken a short trip to the Grand Canyon State, since she is leaving for a year long service trip to South America, it was a good time for her to spend some extra hours with family. Flying out of Ontario Airport was a blast! Uncrowded and on time! Our trip here, while short, has been a delight and as always we have been well taken care of and well fed. Katie, her younger sister turned 18 today. And for her Birthday dinner she has requested a Taco Bell fiesta. How nostalgic it is, right back to my days in High School. Too bad i'm about 30 pounds heavier now. We'll see how 3 Bean/ cheese and nachos bell grande feel at 24. I remember it feeling pretty damn good at 18. I'll post another blog in a few.
My academy orientation is this saturday. I'm looking foward to seeing what I will be working with and against.
